My mom gave me this ring. She got it from her sister while visiting her family in Korea. When I first saw it I didn't really think it was my style, but after wearing it for a while I think it looks pretty good on me. I find the older I get the more attracted I am to bigger sparkly and more showy things. My tastes have gone from pretty simple to more gaudy. I mean I'm not wearing big dookie chains or a peacock headdress or anything. However, I'm not so against costume jewelry as I used to be. This ring, though, is not costume. It's the real thing. Please do not mug me.

I'm not sure if I'll ever reach that point of being able to wear jewelry. It all feels funky on me.
