My Favorite German

The German Goodness is back from her 'hood in Dresden and with her she brought me some delights.

She knows that I love a French chestnut spread so she made sure to bring me this fabulous treat from her travels to France:

I like to eat the spread by itself. I cannot place it but it reminds me heavily of a Korean snack that I've had before which is also a chestnut goody.

She also gifted me with this fun and charming salt and pepper shaker set:



I have seen this salt and pepper shaker in a catalog that I get on occasion and have always wanted them. I don't think Franzi knew that and if she did well she does have a good memory.
