Sunday Funday

I have been a busy girly today. Do not fear though because I've also managed to have fun too.

Yesterday and today I have focused a lot of my time to clearing out clutter and closet space. I have a crap load of laundry left to do too because I mainly stuck to organizational tasks instead of fresh smelling clothes.

My parents will be here this Saturday so I am trying to get things as perfect as I can. I want their guestroom to be comfortable and a hidey hole for when they just want to get away. Um...to like...sit in their underwear or something. That will mostly be my dad and not my mom.

My mom will be shocked that she'll have her own closet and drawers. My mom has already informed (threatened truth be told) me that she watches "Dancing with the Stars" and when it comes on while she is here that is what we'll be watching. I know when to choose my battles and plus I'll just lock her away in her room since they'll conveniently have their own cable television.

Even though I have spent most of my Sunday doing manual labor (hey, it is hard carrying heavy boxes up a rickety ladder into the attic) it has been a very good day.

I got to sleep in this morning. In the early afternoon I got to play racquetball with my girl, the German Goodness. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad that she got to join me.

After our game I met with French Roast for a soak in the hot tub. Aaaaaah. We sat there until it got too hot and then played around in the cooler part of the pool. We ended our splashing time with more bubbly action in the hot tub. By the time I had left the gym today I felt all loosey goosey and good.

Well, back to my laundry and then on to dusting.

xoxo

I so need to regularly schedule hot tub visits. That definitely improved my day, too. Also, I think *I* might like to watch Dancing with the Stars. I hear it's pretty fun times. Maybe I can make friends with your mom and hang out in her hidey hole. :)

Ha ha...well, if you are up to it I might give you a call so you and my mom can ooh and aah over the acts. :)
