Breakfast in a Cup

I made a green smoothie for K and I this morning. I must admit I was a bit leery about how this smoothie would taste. I can honestly say it was actually tasty and did not taste like grass juice.

I followed this recipe:

1 frozen sliced banana
1 Tablespoon peanut butter
1/2 cup 0% Vanilla Chobani Greek yogurt
1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze (or other kind of milk)
4 cups baby spinach (or more, or less)

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Nutritional stats:
350 calories, 10g fiber, 21g protein

I drank all of my smoothie around 6:30 a.m. and I am still content at 8:40 a.m. I also have this kind of high feeling from extra energy. It's almost like I'm extra awake? I dunno. Maybe it's a fluke or maybe it's got super green powers!

I don't know if I could drink this smoothie every morning, but it's a nice alternative to a bowl of oatmeal on occasion.

That sounds delicious. I love spinach smoothies. They're great with apples too.
