Homebody

We've been doing so much furniture rearranging these past couple of months. It amazes me that somehow we've managed to figure out how to reorganize the stuff we already had and also how we figured out how to add more stuff to it.

Even though K and I have our moments of getting on each others nerves we do make a pretty good team. The more we've been doing to our home makes me appreciate my home even more so. I can't wait for the day we can actually afford to do even more so to our home like adding on to it. One day.

The weekend was spent well and speaking of home we spent a lot of the weekend at home.

Friday afternoon I hit up Cotton Patch with Mary where I devoured so much food. All of it was unhealthy and delicious. Thank goodness my pants were stretchy. The rest of the day at work was productive and it turned out even better because I was released early for the day. My evening was mostly spent at home just relaxing with my hubby. He made an awesome curry dish with rice. I was in hog heaven once again.

Saturday, I had K doing all sorts things like hanging up framed art, rearranging our bedroom, and just being the sweet handy man that he is. We got a lot done before getting a visit from Cynda. After she left we drove straight to Lufkin to catch Book of Eli, which I really enjoyed. It ended up being a better movie than I had anticipated.

We returned home and had a late dinner and actually went to bed before 1 a.m., which is unusual for us on a Saturday night.

Sunday, I spent most of my day in my pj's. I left the house once for a Wal-Mart jaunt and as soon as I got back home I put the pj's back on. I made sure to add a lot of comforts to my guest bathroom in preparation for my parent's visit! I can't wait to see them. I'm so excited.

K and I just finished watching Hurt Locker. It's another movie I'd recommend.

This upcoming week is going to be a busy one. Another semester starts on Wednesday and I'm not sure I'm ready for the chaos of another semester just yet.

I love days when I get to stay in my pjs. I don't seem to have enough of those.
