Time Warp

Time change has sucked my will to be awake.

Waking up at my usual 5:30 a.m. is a kick to
the head these days since it's really mother
friggin' 4:30 a.m.

The weekend was beautiful here in East Texas.
Low to mid 70s for the highs is da bomb!

*Does the exclamation point after bomb irk you?
Apparently, you shouldn't use exclamation points
unless you are perchance referring to something about
Jesus Christ himself. This is what I had learned in
my creative fiction writing class. I wasn't the
exclamation point user, though, who was being critiqued.
