i had a dilemma...where do i put the xmas tree? as i was wrapping presents i kept looking at the electric socket in the hallway...bingo! the tree will go in the hallway...it works out pretty well. it's not in the way as we walk past the display and it's also the first thing most people see when they first enter our house.
