weekend! weekend! weekend!

-On Thursday we met up with D&F at El Ranchero for some cheese enchiladas and a side of more cheese. Franzi and I swapped musicals with one another. She took home Popeye and I got to take Mama Mia. F didn't give it a great review so I wasn't happy about that, but I guess I'll just have to check it out any ways. I'm not a huuuge musical geek but I have been known to enjoy them in the past.

-Friday evening K and I had dinner at IHOP. We hadn't been there in quite a while. My mom sent us coupons that would have saved quite a bit on our dinner, but of course I forgot the darn coupons at home. Aaargh. I'm so bad at using coupons. By the time we got home I was ready to kick back. It had been a long week and Friday and I were getting along swimmingly just like how bff's should.

-Saturday was a busy day for K and I. I woke up early to take the dogs for a walk and had to drop K off on campus to meet up with one of his buds. K went to a gun show in Tyler and came back home with some handy tools like an expandable baton, a new knife, and military p-38 can openers. All the actual pistols and rifles at the gun show were pretty inflated so no new shotgun or .22 rifle for us.

As soon as I dropped K off I went to the Rec Center to sweat it out. I ran, did core work, and also weight lifted. I got to end my work out chatting it up with Chrissy so overall it was a great work out.

I learned how to use my sewing machine while being led through the whole process by Merci. She is a great teacher. Thank you! As K did boy things like gun shows I was with some girls for a small crafternoon.

By the time K and I met up it was around 5:00 p.m. and by 6:00 we went over to his aunt and uncle's house for some vegetarian chili and cornbread. It was a long day filled with great people, fun projects, and yummy foods.

-I woke up early Sunday morning blurry eyed and in need of a huge mug of coffee. I met up with Chrissy, Franzi, and Mary for some Church of Skatin'. It was good weather for skating. It wasn't too cold or too muggy. However, I wish there would have been less puddles on the outdoor court.

By the time I got home K was ready to raid the grocery store. He left for food and I got started on laundry. I also played Fable 2 for about 2 or 3 hours. K and I watched Rocky Balboa and you know it wasn't too bad. I had mixed feelings about it, but if you are a Rocky fan then I recommend you watch it.

Thanks for readin. I'm out!
