Aunt Flo No Mo

Is there truly a purpose as to why some of us bloat up to the point where our pants feel as if they are going to pop buttons and explode our zippers like shrapnel that could fatally take out people around us?

I would take the magical pill that allows three months free of cycles, but I'm a bit afraid of this magical pill.

Am I a cavewoman in thinking that I must bleed every month?

I, too, am a cavebeast. It seems kind of weird to me to just chemically alter your body indefinitely. On the other hand, I'd probably be a lot easier to deal with if I didn't have the evil bloat of doom to deal with myself. It's a hard call. Chemicals or pain? I choose neither, but pain, I guess at least builds my character (maybe) or a decent case for therapy.

I'm on the mini pill (if you're 3 hours late in taking it one day, you're screwed) and so far, I haven't gotten my period yet. Pretty scary but you know... it's nice not to bleed monthly. Of course, I have that little question mark, wondering if we've made an "oopsie".

i do not like worrying about "oopsies"
