shopping, home, and limbs

didn't really do anything exciting over the weekend. well, we did
do some shopping so that's always a bit fun. we shopped for the
home and also for ourselves.

i had gotten some things done in the house, but i still have a long
ways to go. trying to get the home all comfy and clean for my
parent's arrival.

as i was cleaning yesterday my hip wasn't feeling all that great. by
bed time it was screaming at me. it has been bothering me for about
three weeks now. i'm finally going to see my doctor today. i'm
going to pay him twenty five dollars so that he can tell me he
doesn't know what's wrong with it, only to send me away to see a
specialist. i don't know why he can't refer me right away since
he knows and i know that he won't have a clue what is wrong with me.

i wonder if he'll require me to get an x-ray taken. if so i hope
the x-ray shows something...anything...

i'll be so frustrated if i'm told once again that everything looks
fine, so why not try physical therapy instead. what a big waste of
time that was. i paid my general practicioner money so that he
could send me to a specialist. the specialist charged me money to
squeeze my knee for five seconds and had prescribed me physical
therapy. the physical therapist really didn't know what type of
program to put me on becuz he specialized in backs.

my pt took me to a prosthetic maker to check out my gait and see if
maybe he could figure out what the hell was wrong with me. the
prosthetic guy watched me walk for ten seconds and said, "you see
how her knee goes that way and how her foot goes the other way? her
problem is she's misaligned.

so all these doctors and health professionals...the guy who makes fake
limbs diagnoses me.

so here we go again.
